Death: Reginald B. Reggie Obituary – After experiencing a period of decreasing health, Reginald B. “Reggie” Shuler, who was 86 years old and lived in Bowman, South Carolina, passed away on December 23, 2024. Sadie E. Shuler, his wife of more than sixty-two years, is the only one who may survive him. The late W. Benton Shuler and Genevieve A. Shuler welcomed their son Reggie into the world in Bowman, South Carolina. In addition to having served in the United States Air Force, he had completed his high school education at Bowman High School and had resigned from Palmetto Baking/Earth Grains as a route salesman.

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at eleven o’clock in the morning, funeral services will be performed at the Bowman Southern Methodist Church. The Reverend Dr. Dan Thigpen will preside over the ceremony. Afterwards, the burial will take place at the Bowman Memorial Cemetery. In the Bowman Southern Methodist Fellowship Hall, the family will host a reception for friends before to the service, which will begin at ten o’clock in the morning. Aaron Goad, Justin Whorley, Jordan Gunnells, Austin King, Kevin Bair, Kirk Bair, and Bryan Epps will be honored among those who will serve as pallbearers at the funeral service.

Jeff Searson, Brian Fogle, and David Stack will serve as honorary pallbearers at the funeral service. Reggie is survived by his daughter, Sybil S. (Sammy) Goad, who resides in Fancy Gap, Virginia; his son, Randall B. (Cindy) Shuler, who resides in Bowman, South Carolina; his grandchildren, Jessica (Justin) Whorley, Aaron Goad, Jordan (Jessica) Gunnells, and Jessica (Austin) King; his six great-grandchildren, Grayson, Grant, Anniston, Presley, Sadie Nell, and Collins; his sister, Claudia Bair; his sister-in-law, Ann Epps; and a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The Bowman Southern Methodist Church, located at P.O. Box 217, Bowman, South Carolina 29018, or a charity of one’s choosing may receive memorial contributions in lieu of flowers. Because of the kind care and support they provided, the family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the personnel at Amedysis Hospice.
