It was a blessing for them to have two children, namely Nancy and Rodney. Over the course of several years, Clem and Dot traveled to warm locations, with Florida and Hawaii being their favorite destinations. They also had a wonderful time traveling around Europe, particularly in Wales. Dorothy was a member of the Wymore United Methodist Church, where she served as a teacher for a number of years, both in the Sunday School and the Bible School. In addition to being a member of the Pastor Parish Committee, she was also a member of the Church Circle and a former parish trustee.
